Hire for a half day for $2500 or a full day for $3500 – please note catering is additional, but can be organised by our friendly team.

Walk the Queen Charlotte track in style: Experience Luxury

Walk the Queen Charlotte track in style by staying on the Akarua between bays. With three cabins, each with a separate bathroom, you can enjoy the comfort of the Akarua after the day’s walk. Relax in the knowledge that our friendly team has got all meals covered, (including all track meals).
Soak in the beauty and stay in the luxury with our staff welcoming you back on board each evening with nibbles, drinks and dinner.

Prices start at $2000 per person for five nights. This includes all food, transfers to and from the track and all track fees.

Day one - I can hear the birds – Start your five day adventure at Motuara Island, – the infamous bird sanctuary where you will have Robins, Tuis and Bellbirds cheering you on your walk – you might even see a kiwi (*disclaimer Kiwis are nocturnal and you will be safely back on the boat sipping wine by the time the kiwis are out).  This island gives you the rare chance to see an array of New Zealand’s native birds.

Day 2 - Walk the same steps as Captain James Cook – Walk the same foot-print as Captain James Cook, getting off the boat at Ship Cove and continuing on to the Furneaux Lodge. Walk time 4 -6 hrs

Day 3 - Perfect Punga – Next stop Punga Cove, a world-renowned resort. Once you have arrived you can relax and have a wine or a coffee, congratulating yourself in completing half the track.
Walk time 3.5 hrs – 4.5 hrs

Day 4 - Back to camp – Camp Bay that is– you’ll feel like you’re doing a rope class in gym with this rigorous section of the track, however the view from the top will be worth it. Walk Camp Bay to Torea Bay

Walk time 6 – 8 hrs

Day 5 - Back to the birds – You’ve made it to the last part of the track! Walk Torea Bay to Anakiwa with this part of the track famous for its bird life and views out over the Marlborough Sounds .
